Where to Get the Cheapest MRI in London

Central London (Zones 1–2)

Central London centres — Harley Street, Marylebone, City of London — have the highest prices. Expect £350–£800 at traditional clinics. Lola Health has partner centres in central London at our standard prices (from £249), but availability is more limited.

Greater London (Zones 3–6)

Centres in areas like Croydon, Bromley, Barnet, Ealing, and Kingston offer lower prices and better availability. These centres use the same scanner technology and radiologists. The only difference is the postcode — and the price.

Just Outside London

If you can travel 30–45 minutes by train, centres in Guildford, Reading, Watford, Chelmsford, and Dartford often have the best availability and lowest prices in the Lola Health network. A £15 train ticket can save you £100+ on your scan.

Travel and Parking

Central London centres rarely have free parking. Budget £10–£20 for parking or factor in public transport costs. Outer London centres often have free or cheap parking. Check when booking.

Appointment Availability

London centres are busier than those in other parts of the UK. If you need an appointment within a few days, widen your search to centres in zones 4–6 or just outside the M25. Lola Health's booking system shows availability across all nearby centres so you can pick the earliest slot.
