Medical Disclaimer

Medical Disclaimer and Product Status Notice Last Updated: 13 May 2026

Intended Purpose

The Lola Health mobile application is a wellness and lifestyle software product. It is not a medical device, is not registered with the MHRA and does not carry a UKCA, CE or FDA mark. It is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, prediction, prognosis, monitoring, treatment or alleviation of disease. Clinical interpretation of lab results is provided by the GMC-registered doctor who reviews them, not by the software. Samples are analysed by our UKAS-accredited (ISO 15189) UK partner laboratory. For the full product status notice, see our Product Status and Wellness Disclaimer.

Important Notice

The information provided by Lola Health Ltd ("Lola Health," "we," "us," "our") through our website (lolahealth.com), mobile app, and related services is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Blood Testing Services

Lola Health provides at-home blood testing services. While every blood test result is reviewed by a qualified, GMC-registered doctor, please note:

Our service provides a general wellness overview based on your blood test results and any information you provide about your medical history. Any health notes you share may be taken into account by the reviewing doctor, but this does not constitute a personalised clinical assessment.

The doctor's review is not a clinical consultation and should not be treated as one.

We do not currently diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide follow-up consultations. Lola Health is not currently licensed to offer diagnostic or consultation services. We are actively working towards obtaining the necessary licensing to offer these services in the future, which we anticipate being in place within the coming months.

For more tailored advice, follow-up questions, a formal diagnosis, or a full medical assessment, please consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional.

Results and commentary should be discussed with your GP or specialist for clinical decision-making.

Blood test results represent a single point in time and may not reflect your overall health status.

Educational Content Articles, blog posts, biomarker guides, and other content on our website and app are written for educational purposes. This content is based on published medical research and clinical guidelines available at the time of writing, may not reflect the most current medical research or guidelines, should not be used to self-diagnose or self-treat any health condition, and does not account for your individual circumstances, medical history, or other medications.

AI-Powered Features  The Lola Health mobile app includes AI-powered chat and insight features. These features provide general wellness information only and are not a substitute for medical advice, may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information, should not be relied upon for making medical decisions, and are supplementary to, not a replacement for, the doctor review included with your blood test.

Prescription Medication Content  Where our content discusses prescription medications such as semaglutide, HRT, TRT, or other prescription-only medicines, this is provided for informational purposes only. We do not advertise or promote any prescription medication. Always consult your prescribing doctor before starting, stopping, or changing any medication.

Reference Ranges The reference ranges provided with your blood test results are based on the ranges used by our UKAS-accredited partner laboratory. These ranges may differ from those used by your GP or hospital. Borderline results do not necessarily indicate a health problem, and results within range do not guarantee good health.

Emergency Situations Our service is not designed for emergency or urgent medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E department immediately. If you need urgent medical advice, call NHS 111.

Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lola Health Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on information provided through our services. You use our services and act on the information provided at your own risk.

Regulatory Status Lola Health Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Ref: ZB752885). Blood samples are processed by UKAS-accredited laboratories meeting ISO 15189 standards. All reviewing doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
