Prenuvo UK Review: Full Body MRI Pricing and Experience

MRI scans are coming soon to Lola Health. We are not taking bookings yet. In the meantime, you can book an at-home blood test, with a phlebotomist visit included.

Prenuvo is a premium full body MRI provider that launched in the UK with a single London clinic. Their scans start at £2,499 — making them one of the most expensive options in the UK market. This review covers what you actually get for that price, how it compares to alternatives, and whether the premium is justified.

What Prenuvo Offers

The Scanning Experience

Prenuvo's London clinic is purpose-built for their brand. The experience is designed to feel premium:

  • Dedicated clinic with a spa-like aesthetic — not a shared hospital imaging department
  • 1-hour scan covering head, torso, and spine
  • Proprietary scanning sequences that they claim reduce scan time while maintaining image quality
  • Comfortable waiting area with refreshments
  • Results delivered via their online portal within 5–7 working days

The Clinical Side

  • All scans reviewed by fellowship-trained radiologists
  • AI-assisted image analysis (used as a screening tool, not a replacement for human review)
  • Findings categorised by urgency — from incidental to needs-immediate-attention
  • Follow-up guidance included

Prenuvo's Limitations

London Only

This is the biggest drawback. Prenuvo has one clinic in London. If you live in Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, or anywhere else in the UK, you'll need to travel. Add train/hotel costs and a day off work, and the true cost of a Prenuvo scan can easily exceed £2,700.

No Individual Scans

Prenuvo only offers full body packages. If you know you need a knee scan or a liver scan, you can't get just that. You're paying £2,499 for the full package whether you need it all or not.

No Blood Test Integration

Prenuvo doesn't offer blood testing. So you get detailed images of your organs but no biochemical data. A scan might show your liver looks normal on imaging, while a blood test would reveal elevated enzymes suggesting early damage that hasn't yet changed the liver's appearance. Imaging and blood work together give a much more complete picture.

Premium Pricing for the Brand

Part of what you're paying for is the Prenuvo brand and clinic experience. The actual MRI scanner technology (1.5T and 3T machines) is the same as what's used at other UK providers. Other UK providers such as Scan.com use the same Siemens, GE, and Philips scanners — the physics is identical.

Who Should Choose Prenuvo?

Prenuvo makes sense if:

  • You live in or near London and value a premium clinic experience
  • Budget isn't a concern — you genuinely don't mind paying a premium for a nicer waiting room
  • You want a single-brand experience and don't need blood test data

Alternatives to Prenuvo

If you live outside London or want a lower price, nationwide providers such as Scan.com offer full body MRI from around £1,500 across 150+ centres. MRI scans are coming soon to Lola Health; in the meantime, you can start with our Peak 70 blood test now, and add an MRI once scans launch at Lola Health.

The Bottom Line

Prenuvo delivers a genuinely nice scanning experience in a well-designed London clinic. But you're paying a significant premium — around £1,000 more than nationwide alternatives — for branding and ambiance, not better scanning technology. The scanners, the physics, and the radiologist expertise are the same.
