Product Status and Wellness Disclaimer
Last updated: 7th of May, 2026
1. What this notice covers
This notice explains the regulatory status of what Lola Health Ltd offers through lolahealth.com and the Lola mobile application. It applies to all current and future products and services unless a specific product page states otherwise.
2. What we offer
Lola Health offers:
- at-home and clinic-based testing services, including blood, biological age, gut microbiome and similar tests
- sample collection by qualified nurses and phlebotomists
- laboratory analysis by accredited partner laboratories
- clinical review of results by GMC-registered doctors
- the Lola mobile application, where you view your results, the doctor's review, lifestyle metrics and educational content
- supplements and other wellness products
- subscription bundles combining any of the above
- educational content published by the Lola Health editorial team
3. The Lola application is not a medical device
The Lola mobile application (the "App") is a wellness and lifestyle software product. It is not a medical device. It is not registered with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and does not carry a UKCA, CE or FDA mark.
The App is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, prediction, prognosis, monitoring, treatment or alleviation of any disease, injury or disability. It does not interpret your test results, generate diagnoses or produce treatment recommendations. Any outputs shown in the App, including biological age, lifestyle scores, mood and habit tracking, and trend visualisations, are for general wellness and self-awareness only.
4. Test kits and laboratory services are regulated
Test kits sold by Lola Health are regulated medical devices and bear the appropriate conformity marking (CE or UKCA). They are manufactured under quality management systems meeting ISO 13485. Samples are analysed by partner laboratories accredited to ISO 15189 by UKAS in the UK, and where applicable by CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratories in the United States. Sample collection is carried out by qualified nurses and phlebotomists. Nothing in this notice limits or disclaims those regulated services.
5. Clinical interpretation comes from the doctor
Where your results are accompanied by a written review, that review is authored by a GMC-registered doctor acting in their professional capacity. The clinical interpretation of your results is provided by the doctor, not by the App and not by any algorithm shown in it. The App is the channel through which the doctor's review reaches you.
6. The shop and product information
Product descriptions, suggested panels, comparison tools and lifestyle guidance on lolahealth.com are general information for marketing and orientation purposes. They are not personalised medical advice. Buying a product does not, on its own, establish a doctor-patient relationship; that arises only when a Lola GMC-registered doctor reviews your results. Sale, refund, cancellation and delivery terms are governed by our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.
7. Supplements and wellness products
Supplements and other wellness products sold by Lola Health are food or general consumer products. They are not medicines, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Always read the label and follow the dosage instructions on the product.
8. Editorial content
Articles, guides, blog posts and other educational material published by Lola Health are general information. They are not personalised medical advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
9. When to seek medical advice
Lola is not a substitute for advice from your GP or another regulated healthcare professional. Consult one if you have specific concerns about your health, are considering changes to medication, treatment, diet or exercise, or if a result, symptom or trend worries you.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 in the UK or 112 in the EU, or attend your nearest A&E. Do not use Lola to seek emergency care.
10. Eligibility
Lola's services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not provide testing or related services to people under 18.
